TEATRALIDADE E MILITÂNCIA CULTURAL EM PARAUAPEBAS

Resumo

Parauapebas ainda é uma cidade jovem e está situada no sudeste paraense, despontando para a construção de um cenário cultural da identidade artístico-cultural. Os objetivos que estruturam este trabalho são: (I) refletir as concepções de teatralidade e antiteatralidade na construção das performances teatrais; (II) revelar os movimentos artísticos e culturais que têm organizado a construção da cena cultural no município; (III) apresentar como a cena cultural no município vem sendo construída e (IV) inquietar o surgimento de políticas culturais que reconheçam e valorizem o fazer artístico cultural na cidade. E como metodologia, parte-se de um viés histórico e documental dos coletivos culturais, bem como das companhias constituintes da identidade cultural parauapebense. Assim, esperamos que tais apontamentos sirvam de pesquisa e orientação no surgimento de outros trabalhos que valorizem a cena cultural local.

THEATRICALITY AND CULTURAL ACTIVITY IN PARAUAPEBAS

ABSTRACT

Parauapebas is still a young city located in the southeast of Pará, emerging for the construction of a cultural scene of artistic-cultural identity. The objectives that structure this work are: (I) to reflect on the concepts of theatricality and anti-theatricality in the construction of theatrical performances; (II) to reveal the artistic and cultural movements that have organized the construction of the cultural scene in the city; (III) to present how the cultural scene in the city has been constructed and (IV) to question the emergence of cultural policies that recognize and value the artistic and cultural work in the city. And as a methodology, it starts from a historical and documentary bias of the cultural collectives, as well as of the companies that constitute the cultural identity of Parauapebas. Thus, we hope that these notes serve as research and guidance in the emergence of other works that value the local cultural scene.
